What is the charge for The Rizzi Group to see me in my Senior Living Community?
The Rizzi Group accepts Medicare and most commercial insurance plans for our services. We are happy to verify your insurance coverage. There are no additional fees or enrollment fees required to access services from The Rizzi Group.
When is my Rizzi Provider available? What if I am experiencing an emergency?
Providers have designated days when they visit your community. Appointments can be scheduled either through your community (where applicable) or by contacting your provider directly. Personal cell phone numbers will be provided; please contact your provider during business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Providers may be attending to other patients at the time of your call; however, if you leave a message, your provider will return your call promptly. If you are experiencing an emergency requiring immediate attention, you may need to visit Urgent Care or the Emergency Room rather than wait for your provider’s scheduled visit.
Will my Rizzi Provider manage my medication and/or injections?
Providers are able to prescribe medications and send prescriptions to your preferred pharmacy. They are unable to set up daily medication boxes or administer medications. Should you require assistance with these tasks, your community may offer such services, or your provider can recommend a Private Duty service for further support.
What if I currently have a Primary Care Provider?
You may continue to utilize our services while retaining your external primary care provider. We support a collaborative care approach and are pleased to coordinate care with any other providers or specialists involved in your healthcare.
